Position: Staff Civil/Structural Engineer

Are you interested in working in and around the water? Would you like to quickly grow your engineering knowledge through direct practical experience? Would you like the opportunity to design for the challenging coastal environment? If so, we are seeking a motivated engineer to work on complex and exciting projects at locations throughout the Northeast.

  • Candidates will work on a variety of structural waterfront projects throughout the region.
  • You will learn new skills and perform engineering analyses and design.
  • You will perform field surveys and inspections of existing structures.
  • You will be expected to perform computations, prepare spreadsheets, prepare and edit drawings using AutoCAD.
  • You will take a key role in construction field inspections for activities such as pile driving, bulkhead wall construction, and concrete placement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S or M.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2+ years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidate should have EIT
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • This position has a field component; travel and some overnight travel are required. Candidates should be prepared to work in inclement conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience working in waterfront/coastal engineering
  • Structural steel and concrete design courses
  • Experience with AutoCAD software
