Position Summary
The CAD Designer is responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assemblies, and layouts using AutoCAD and Solid Works. This position supports the engineering and manufacturing teams by ensuring all designs meet specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate 2D drawings and 3D models of parts and assemblies using AutoCAD and Solid Works
.Develop mechanical layouts for back plates, enclosures, and custom components.
Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all assemblies and wire harnesses.
Produce system interconnect and block diagrams for product documentation.
Maintain and update the company drawing database and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Inspect incoming fabricated parts for accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with engineers and production staff to resolve mechanical or machining issues
.Support multiple projects and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
Certificate or degree in Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solid Works (or similar 3D modeling software).
Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards

3+ years of CAD drafting or mechanical design experience.
