Radar I&T Engineer - HIL Testing

We are seeking a Hardware Integration and String Test Engineer to support radar system testing in a fast‑paced lab environment. This role is critical to systems and software engineering teams; providing reliable hardware, networking, and lab infrastructure necessary to effectively execute development and testing activities.

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance and is 100% on-site in Woburn, MA.

• Set up, configure, and maintain radar string test environments including servers, network switches, and cabling (Cat5, RF), power systems, racking, and stacking of hardware
• Install and configure operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Support hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing to ensure systems accurately represent real radar configurations
• Maintain lab operations including inventory management, equipment shipments, and coordination with IT and engineering teams
• Provide regular status updates to management on lab readiness, equipment availability, and operational issues

• Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.
• B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a fast‑paced lab environment supporting development and testing; varying levels of experience may be considered.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware integration.
• Proficiency in server setup, networking (switches, cabling), and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Experience with hardware configuration, inventory logistics, and customer interaction.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

• Experience in government or defense contracting environments.
• Practical networking experience and/or certifications (e.g., CCNA, Network+).
• Familiarity with radar systems, power‑up sequences, and system‑level validation.
• Exposure to radar string testing and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 - $140,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.
