Overview
Staff Engineer 2 – Building Services team at Woburn, MA office. Design electrical systems for commercial, institutional, and other building types; prepare construction documents, specifications, and calculations; develop detailed Revit models and drawings; coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams; support construction administration activities.
Responsibilities- Design electrical systems for a variety of building types, including power distribution, lighting (interior and exterior), and emergency/standby power systems.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and calculations.
- Develop detailed Revit models and drawings.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
- Support construction administration activities, including submittal review and field observations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of consulting engineering experience designing electrical systems for buildings.
- EIT certification required (PE track strongly encouraged).
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required).
- Working knowledge of NEC and applicable codes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
