Job Overview
RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Mission/Event Analyst, Sr. Systems Engineer, for the Integrated Solutions Modeling & Architecture (ISMA) Department – CONOPS Analysis section. The position is onsite in Woburn, MA within the United States.
Key requirements:
U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) prior to start date. The candidate must also be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance.
- Perform quick‑turn event analysis products from the site system, as requested by the customer.
- Analyze recorded site data and create a quick briefing on the event results.
- Provide data dumps of event outputs to the customer and partners as requested.
- Contribute to complex tasking such as managing a Postgres database where all site‑generated data is stored in real time, downloading event data locally for playback runs, quieting specific time‑based subsets of data and analyzing results in a visualization tool (e.g., Analytic Display).
- Create customer‑level one‑page vignettes with detailed screenshots and information of event summaries.
- Work with SMEs to understand event outcomes and develop next steps.
- Access CNet, SIPR, and/or JWICS intel sources.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL Multiphysics, Siemens Simcenter Amesim, dSPACE, AutoCAD/Revit, Flex Sim, Aerospace/Defense tools, BioVIA Materials Studio, Dymola/Modelon Impact/Simulation
X, Any Logic, etc. - Experience with Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued interim Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience in systems engineering life‑cycle modeling.
- Experience in data analysis and statistics with large volumes of data.
- Experience with networking and diagnosing system element health and status.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Analytic Display.
- Experience creating customer‑level vignettes in PowerPoint.
USD 86,800 – 165,200 based on experience.
