Senior Radar Systems Engineer Onsite

Job Overview

Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Systems – X-Band technology – Onsite, U.S. Citizenship required for access to a Secret‑level security clearance.

• Provide guidance to site radar engineers and develop fault isolation procedures, identify root cause, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan maintenance events with site engineering, logistics, and maintenance planners.
• Participate in integration planning, execute verification/validation events, perform analysis, and provide status updates and reach‑back assistance to program leads.
• Support analysis activities and products with group lead, engineering management, and government personnel responsible for executing analysis tasks.
• Document analysis results in reports and briefings presented to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support up to 20% domestic and international travel.

• Degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, or other programming languages.
• Experience in systems integration, system test, and/or system verification.
• Experience with data analysis and/or test scripts.

• Experience with X-Band family of radars, Early Warning Radars, or other Missile Defense System sensors.
• Ability to compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands‑on root‑cause identification, corrective action implementation, and execution of program test activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining troubleshooting guides and training for reach‑back engineering support.
• Experience working on international programs.
