Principal Systems Engineer, Systems Verification Engineer Onsite

Position Overview

Principal Systems Engineer – Surface Radars & Sensors Center (Systems Integration & Test, Long-range Radars Department). Woburn, MA. Onsite role. U.S. citizenship required; U.S. Secret clearance required at hire date.

• Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirements verification and scope planning.
• Create milestones, schedule and manage competing task priorities, and deliver customer presentations.
• Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, software development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
• Participate in scenario development, testing, analysis, support to software development and systems engineering teams, and customer presentations.

Required

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with DOORS and systems integration, test, and/or verification.

Preferred

• Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
• Experience with risk and opportunity analysis; coaching teams in Agile and Dev Sec Ops .
• Experience implementing or maintaining Agile methodologies and participating in backlog execution, performance analysis, and issue investigation.
• Experience in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, Program Increment (PI) planning, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for predictable workflows.
• Skilled in removing impediments, estimating task sizing, backlog readiness, tracking and reporting agile metrics, and facilitating new process and technology integration.
• Experience with analysis tools, root-cause identification, corrective action implementation, systems integration and verification, and working with customers on program test activities.
