Position Overview
Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Training Development and Conduct Section Leader to work onsite in either Woburn, MA or El Paso, TX. The role includes participating in leadership team goals and initiatives, supporting department hiring and program staffing, providing employee feedback and mentoring, and being actively involved in daily program operations.

Work location:
Woburn, MA or El Paso, TX. The position requires up to 15% domestic travel.
- Develop the team through career discussions and training.
- Establish meaningful and measurable goals and communicate effectively with the team.
- Oversee direct line management activities, including communication, performance impact, career development, and talent acquisition.
- Support department and directorate level initiatives.
- Review team timecards and expense statements.
- Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee personnel issue resolution.
- Adhere to and ensure alignment with Raytheon Technologies values and behaviors.
- Provide technical leadership, supporting and enabling members of the section.
- Develop strategies for proposals and contract execution focused on delivering quality work products within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in training development and/or conducting training on high‑tech systems.
- Preferred: experience in radar systems, system requirements, and/or system test; understanding of Technical Data Packages, Change Notices/Engineering Change Proposals, technical manuals, and tool catalogs.
- Preferred: experience leading Training and Graphics illustration teams.
- Preferred: experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking system.
- Preferred: experience with Raytheon’s Proposal Capture Process, Basis of Estimates, Estimate at Complete (EAC), and BOE certification.
U.S. citizenship is required. The individual must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, with an active existing clearance required after day 1.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (good faith estimate).
