Overview
Raytheon is seeking a Scrum Master for the Maverick Agile Team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE/T
C) Surface Radars & Sensors Center. This on-site role in Woburn, MA supports the AN/TPY-2 Programs and contributes to requirements analysis, mission planning, and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS team focuses on concept development, architectural design, requirements generation, systems analysis, modeling & simulation, integration, testing, and evaluation of missile defense and sensor systems.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups).
- Manage and verify the product backlog.
- Track Agile metrics and identify/resolving impediments.
- Analyze performance data and automate workflows using MATLAB.
- Oversee key team activities, including threat evaluation, system performance assessments, mission planning, radar input creation, and test event support.
- Mentor team members, remove roadblocks, and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
- Support proposal efforts and manage team financial planning.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading a technical effort and overseeing/monitoring technical cost and schedule performance.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user requirements.
- Prior experience with the AN/TPY-2 System and/or Missile Defense programs is preferred.
- Understanding radar systems technology in radar design and analysis, and systems engineering development.
- Experience with Python scripting and mission planning activities.
- Familiarity with IPDS and CMMI-compliant Gate Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and practices; experience with current Missile defense programs and large, complex systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles and metrics.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Engineering, Math, Physics, or Business is a plus.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.
