Job Description
As a Sr HSE Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization’s health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering‑related safety.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety measures, training, and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits.
- Develop emergency response plans.
- Manage HSE budget.
- Promote environmental sustainability.
- Enforce quality control standards.
- Utilize technology for safety monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders for effective communication on HSE matters.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
- 5+ years of experience in HSE Engineering.
- In‑depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Advanced degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
