Role OverviewA System Integration & Test Engineer will support radar capability development in a laboratory environment, performing Linux‑based hardware and software integration and test activities.
Responsibilities- Assist executing and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
- Perform hands‑on testing and integration of hardware and software, focusing on Linux‑based operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system‑level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems under guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.
- Support system‑level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post‑test analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program‑specific processes.
- Willingness to support 5% domestic travel.
Required
- Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
- Less than 2 years of prior experience.
- Experience with system engineering.
- Experience in MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Understanding of X‑Band radar system fundamentals.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, and network configurations.
- Experience with RF systems, radar signal processing, and real‑time systems.
- Knowledge of system security concepts and tools in Linux environments.
- Salary range: USD 57,200 – 108,800.
