Senior Linux- Systems & Test Engineer Onsite

Senior System Integration & Test Engineer – Surface Radars & Sensors Center, RTX (Woburn, MA).

• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
• Perform hands‑on testing and integration of hardware and software, focusing on systems running Linux.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system‑level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.
• Support system‑level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post‑test analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program‑specific processes.
• Willingness to support 5‑10% domestic travel.

• Required:
  
  Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, shell scripting, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
• Experience with networking principles.
• Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.

• Familiarity with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
• Experience working with X‑Band radar systems.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, and operations of software in a String/HWIL facility.
• Knowledge of RF systems, radar signal processing, and real‑time systems.
• Practical knowledge of system security concepts and tools in Linux environments.

• Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
