Systems Engineer, Test Engineer
Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department at Woburn, MA. This role supports X‑Band radar technology, collaborating on requirement verification, systems integration, scenario development, data analysis, and customer presentations.
What You Will Do- Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirement verification tasks, scope planning, milestone creation, scheduling, and customer presentations.
- Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, and software development capabilities, working with internal and external customers.
- Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
- Experience with DOORS and systems integration, test, or verification.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required before start; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers; collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
- Experience with risk and opportunity analysis, coaching teams in agile and Dev Sec Ops processes, implementing agile methodologies, and executing the team’s backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation.
- Experience participating in daily stand‑up meetings, monthly sprint reviews, quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for predictable and repeatable workflows.
- Skilled in removing impediments, estimating task sizing, verifying backlog readiness for planning and execution, tracking/reporting team agile metrics, and facilitating new process and technology integration.
- Experience with analysis tools, root‑cause identification, corrective action implementation, systems integration, systems verification, and working with customers to plan and execute program test activities.

Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
