Principal Systems Engineer, Systems Verification Engineer Onsite

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer in the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department at Woburn, MA. This role supports X‑Band radar technology, collaborating on requirement verification, systems integration, scenario development, data analysis, and customer presentations.

• Support the Systems Verification Lead on requirement verification tasks, scope planning, milestone creation, scheduling, and customer presentations.
• Strengthen the team’s data analysis, requirements verification, systems integration, and software development capabilities, working with internal and external customers.
• Develop scenarios to support testing, data analysis, and software development.
• Collaborate with systems engineers to resolve radar technical issues.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or Unix.
• Experience with DOORS and systems integration, test, or verification.
• Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) required before start; U.S. citizenship required.

• Experience compiling, summarizing, and presenting data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers; collaborating across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues.
• Experience with risk and opportunity analysis, coaching teams in agile and Dev Sec Ops  processes, implementing agile methodologies, and executing the team’s backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation.
• Experience participating in daily stand‑up meetings, monthly sprint reviews, quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for predictable and repeatable workflows.
• Skilled in removing impediments, estimating task sizing, verifying backlog readiness for planning and execution, tracking/reporting team agile metrics, and facilitating new process and technology integration.
• Experience with analysis tools, root‑cause identification, corrective action implementation, systems integration, systems verification, and working with customers to plan and execute program test activities.

Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
