Job Summary:
The Senior System Integration & Test Engineer will support an early warning radar program within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Long Range Radars Department, focusing on integration, verification, and test activities in a radar development environment.
- Install and configure electronic hardware and software in String/HWIL facility for integration and test.
- Interface hardware with software, configure for networked systems, and maintain documentation.
- Plan, execute, and document integration and test activities; conduct verification/validation events and perform data analysis.
- Resolve technical inquiries related to hardware/software test.
- Support integration and test planning/execution; provide status updates and reach-back assistance to program engineers/leads.
- Ensure test and evaluation processes follow established procedures; maintain configuration control.
- Collaborate with program leads/stakeholders to develop test approaches and ensure readiness reviews (peer, gate, test readiness).
- Support 20% international travel and extended hours, including off-shift support.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++ and/or other programming languages.
- Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.
- Strong individual integration skills, multidisciplinary engineering team interaction, and willingness to perform international travel.
- Experience with Early Warning Radar systems.
- Experience with MATLAB, Linux (Red Hat), and shell scripting for integration and test analysis.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, operations in String/HWIL facility, and basic networking principles.
- Certifications:
CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+.
