Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior System Integration & Test Engineer to support radar capability development. This role involves planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for radar programs in a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
- Perform hands‑on testing and integration of hardware and software, focusing on systems running Linux‑based operating environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system‑level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.
- Support system‑level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post‑test analysis.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program‑specific processes.
- Willingness to support 5-10% domestic travel.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, Shell scripting, Linux, and/or Unix.
- Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
- Experience with networking principles.
- Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.
- Familiarity with test equipment and tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
- Experience working with X‑Band radar systems.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, and operations of software in String/HWIL facility.
- Knowledge of RF systems, radar signal processing, and real‑time systems.
- Practical knowledge of system security concepts and tools in Linux environments.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
