Our Building Services Team and Projects
Our Building Services team, composed of skilled engineers and technical leaders, is key to optimizing building performance, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort. While our work often goes unseen, it ensures the seamless operation of critical systems. We collaborate with architects and contractors to deliver integrated solutions across vertical structures, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection while focusing on sustainability and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a valuable part of our MEP Team
, a Staff Engineer 2will support a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience with responsibilities such as:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical air and hydronic system drawings, details, flow diagrams, and system concepts
- Perform and reviewing heating and cooling load calculations and preparing biddable mechanical design documents using AutoCAD and Revit
- Coordinate with internal disciplines and external partners to ensure integrated project delivery
- Support project managers in maintaining schedules and technical quality
- Conduct field surveys of existing mechanical systems
- Support construction administration efforts, including reviewing equipment submittals, responding to contractor RFIs, and participating in site visits and observations
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, Building Systems, or Energy Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of relevant mechanical HVAC design experience
- Engineer in Training certification required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, Building Systems, or Energy Engineering
- Experience with a range of HVAC system types across institutional, commercial, or municipal projects
- Working knowledge of construction administration processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit
- Progress toward Professional Engineer licensure
