Blaze Tech Corporation has full-time openings for MS and PhD graduates in Aerospace, Mechanical or Chemical Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Job DescriptionInvestigation and modeling of ignition, combustion, plume generation, and adverse impacts in military operations and wildfires. The models will cover a wide range of flows, from buoyancy-driven to shock-driven flows. Because of the breadth of the applications, some models will be done analytically while others computationally. The ideal applicant should be versatile in both types of models. Unique test data will be available from national facilities for model validation.
Requirements- Strong experience with analytical and CFD methods
- Good experimental skills and proficiency in gas dynamics, heat transfer and chemical kinetics
- Willingness to work on a number of R&D projects both independently and in a team
- Strong written and verbal skills
- US Citizenship (preferred) or Permanent Residency to satisfy ITAR requirements.

- Unique software for the atmospheric dispersion of reactive chemicals
- Development of innovative burner, fluidized bed combustor and microgrid software
- Unique annual professional course on Aircraft Fire Hazards, Protection, and Investigation
