Responsibilities:
- Capture customer, business and product requirements for indiGO offerings and formulate an overall product roadmap for each product line.
- Establish programs and projects that formally scope and track cross-functional efforts from planning to design to production to release.
- Collaborate with leadership, business, R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure a seamless production transition from prototype vehicles to full production environments at scale.
- Document and coordinate requirements with Testing and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant safety and performance standards.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and lead the resolution of issues that jeopardize the schedule or budget.
- Maintain thorough documentation of projects, programs, change records, budgets, etc. associated with the role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in mechanical, electrical, or automotive engineering.
- 7+ years in vehicle product development.
- Proficiency in product management and project management methodologies and tools.
- Proven ability to manage barriers to on-time/on-budget product releases including proficiency in engineering and manufacturing analysis (experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and APQP processes)
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, integration, and manufacturability.
- Strong understanding of business planning, product launches and financial performance fundamentals.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic project management skills.
