Woburn, MA 01801 (Hybrid) Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 + Bonus
Founded in 1961, we are a 100 employee consulting engineering firm headquartered in Woburn. We specialize in delivering innovative MEP and FP engineering solutions as the trusted Owner's Engineer, serving healthcare, academic, and science & technology clients. At our Woburn facility, we provide design, consulting, and construction management services for complex building systems, partnering with clients who demand high performance, reliability, and sustainability.
The Engineering Principal will serve as a senior technical leader, providing oversight, client engagement, and strategic contribution while mentoring engineering teams and reinforcing standards of excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead complex MEP/FP engineering projects from design through construction, ensuring quality and constructability
- Serve as a trusted technical and strategic advisor to clients, building long term relationships
- Provide senior technical oversight and quality assurance across multidisciplinary projects
- Mentor engineers and project teams, reinforcing accountability and firm standards
- Support business development efforts, pursuits, and client engagement initiatives
- Champion innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement across the firm
What You Need for This Position
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of MEP/FP engineering experience with leadership responsibility
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary institutional projects
- Strong client facing skills and sound business judgment
- Advanced proficiency with Revit, BIM, and engineering analysis tools
- Ability to balance technical depth with firm wide strategic perspective
