You’ll manage entity and related individual returns for closely held businesses and their owners, mentor staff, and play a visible role in delivering strategic tax guidance—all within a collaborative, people‑first environment.

- Manage and review federal and state tax returns for C‑Corps, S‑Corps, Partnerships, and related 1040s/1041s
- Review quarterly and annual tax projections
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely filings
- Research complex tax issues and provide clear written conclusions
- Deliver proactive tax planning to business owners and their families
- Communicate tax strategies in a practical, client‑friendly way
- Serve as a go‑to resource for technical questions
- Review work of seniors and associates; coach them to strengthen technical and self‑review skills
- Provide constructive feedback and formal evaluations
- Support training initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team
- Oversee budgets, WIP, and billing coordination
- Maintain strong control procedures throughout the tax process
- Ensure high‑quality documentation and deliverables
- 5–9 years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience reviewing business and related individual returns
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s a plus)
- CPA or EA preferred (or pursuing)
- Experience in a paperless, technology‑driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead during busy season
- Strong communication skills and client presence

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000–$165,000, which represents a good faith estimate based on current market data and the firm’s budgeted range for the role. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, education, and qualifications.
