Job Summary
Position:
Sustainment Principal Program Cost Controls Analyst (P3) – Finance Professional – ASDS SBU, RTX.
Location:
Woburn, MA (Hybrid role – works on‑site and off‑site).
Salary: $86,800 – $165,200 per year (USD).
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities- Support baseline program execution activities including monthly internal earned value management (EVMS), quarterly estimate at completion (EAC) analyses for multiple programs, weekly financial reporting, staffing analysis, and contract data requirement list (CDRL) deliveries (CFSR, CDSR).
- Provide ad‑hoc financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support as needed.
- Interface with program leadership and cross‑functional teams (Director, PMs, SCM, Ops, Engineering, Finance).
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and cadences, and establish new ones.
- Act as a strategic partner to program leaders and influence decision‑making at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or advanced degree) and at least 5 years of relevant finance experience in aerospace/defense (or 3 years with an advanced degree).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with earned‑value management (EVM) and/or estimates at completion (EAC) methodologies.
- Experience with SAP, RPlan, BW, PMX, Edit+, or similar financial planning tools.
- Experience developing monthly financial CDRL deliveries.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and cost‑accounting standards (CAS); knowledge of color‑of‑money policy and accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proactive, creative, innovative, critical and strategic thinking; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
