Job OverviewThe role focuses on cost control, schedule management, and financial analysis for engineering programs. Responsibilities include supporting the creation of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LRE), performing EVM and financial analysis, preparing forecasts, monitoring actual costs, documenting variances, managing a team of Engineering Business Analysts, and driving cost control using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX reporting tools.
Responsibilities- Support creation of Estimates at Complete (EAC) on a quarterly basis and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) monthly, including cost estimates, test-of-reasonableness analysis, and risk/opportunity assessment at the program/product/mission level.
- Perform detailed EVM and financial analysis for baseline budget, schedule, and EAC positions.
- Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
- Manage a team of Engineering Business Analysts (EBAs): allocate support across programs, provide training, conduct performance development (goals, mid‑year, end‑of‑year), give career guidance, and hire/shape the team based on future program needs.
- Drive cost control and schedule using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools; facilitate monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), EAC/LRE inputs, and weekly cost and labor run analysis.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a university degree, or 5 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other government procurement regulations (preferred).
- Strong leadership, team building, mentorship, and strategic career guidance skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring program financial commitments are met.
Salary range: 107,500 – 204,500 USD (based on experience).
