Home Health Aide (HHA)

Bright Star Care is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) for 2025. The role involves providing compassionate support to clients in their homes across the Woburn area.

Location

Woburn, Lincoln, Bedford, Burlington, Maynard, Ayer, Lowell and surrounding areas.

Pay & Schedule

Competitive pay ranges up to $22.00 per hour, depending on shift and assignment. Per hour: $19 – $22.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage clients in meaningful activities.
  • Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being.
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure client safety and comfort.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid/verifiable Home Health Aide Certificate from a reputable program.
  • Certified CPR.
  • Preferred: at least one year documented caregiver or home‑care experience.
  • Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray.
  • Licensed driver with insurance and reliable automobile.
  • Background check and drug screening clearance.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and committed to high‑quality care.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Physical ability to push and pull, bend, lift, and kneel as required, lifting up to 50 lbs.
