We are seeking a Contract Recruiter (6‑12 month term) to join our client's fun, high‑performing Talent Acquisition team! You will support rapid business growth in Operations (think warehouse employees). The Contract Recruiter is responsible for creating recruitment strategies with hiring managers, assisting with creation of job descriptions, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, scheduling all candidate interviews and candidate debriefs, extending offers, initiating background checks while managing multiple requisitions.

Primary

Functions:
  • Partner with the recruiting team and hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies for current hiring needs, build effective candidate sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches
  • Assist hiring managers with the development of job descriptions, outline job scope and assess required skills, behaviors, traits and attributes
  • Screen, interview, submit candidates for review and schedule candidate interviews
  • Create a fantastic candidate experience by maintaining communication with internal and external candidates as well as your hiring managers
  • Provide timely and quality service to hiring manager (clients), timely and comprehensive updates, and push appropriately to manage the process toward results
  • Use search engines, user groups and other creative social networking recruiting tactics
  • Source and develop passive candidates, gauging fit and motivation
  • Query and track candidate activity through UKG, including the creation of offers and the start of onboarding efforts
  • Manage multiple searches simultaneously
Education and Years of

Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in recruiting passive candidates for corporate and/or operational roles
  • Strong working proficiency with UKG – ATS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research
  • Initiative, with a strong sense of urgency and client service mentality
  • Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high‑growth environment
  • Organized, accurate, and detail‑oriented with exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Able to multi‑task while meeting deadlines
  • Collaborative, but able to work independently
