• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows, VMWare and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Provide daily checks in multiple data centers.
• Understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.
• Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technological environment, using troubleshooting techniques to resolve moderate‑to‑high scope and complex technical problems, including integration of operating systems and program‑specific software.
• Experience with data backup technologies; install and help configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Must obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
• Systems are operational 24/7 and occasionally require work beyond standard hours.
• Travel up to 10% per year to other U.S. domestic locations.
• Full‑time 100% onsite position.

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years experience.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, VMware administration, backup and recovery.

• DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) and an OS certification.
• Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
• Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Experience using IT project lifecycle management processes.
• Experience with VMware vCenter, vSphere, ESX or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange.
• Experience with AIX operating system.
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
• Scripting experience.

The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $165,200. Specific benefits are dependent on the business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.

Salary Range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD.

Eligibility for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depends on level and collective bargaining status.
