Senior Windows System Administrator – LADS Program & Infrastructure, Woburn, MA (Onsite)

Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Work as a team member in a fast‑paced technology environment, troubleshooting moderate to high scope problems, installing and configuring software, maintaining security compliance, and providing documentation and training. The position requires a Department of Defense Secret security clearance and US citizenship.

• Administer and support Windows 11 and Windows Server operating systems including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication.
• Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope, including hardware and operating system integration.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with cybersecurity professionals to enforce security requirements.
• Document procedures and provide advanced training to users.
• Assist in patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
• Support operating system imaging and automated software deployment processes.

• University degree or equivalent experience with at least two years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience administering Windows 11 and Windows Server OSs.
• Active, transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance).
• Ability to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.

• Experience as a technical SME or primary contact for patching, vulnerability remediation, or compliance initiatives.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL 7–10).
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies (ESXi, vCenter, VM lifecycle management).
• Experience with system hardening, STIG/EVAL STIG implementation, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with Power Shell scripting.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM, PXE boot services, OS imaging, and automated software deployment frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise Windows services (Active Directory, Group Policy, identity integration).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance tooling such as ACAS, SCAP, Splunk, STIG Viewer, and audit support processes.
• Prior experience supporting DoD, defense, or highly regulated environments.

Competitive salary range of USD 68,900 – 131,100.
