Secret. Ability to obtain interim clearance is also required.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.
• Serve as a technical project leader.
• Participate in meetings with customers, providing technical guidance and best practices to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software for a Windows/Linux infrastructure supporting classified programs.
• Manage servers (software and hardware); storage (logical and physical); cross‑platform authentication and access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; workstation support.
• Troubleshoot, patch, and support Windows, ESXi, and Linux systems.
• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Apply Windows Server internals knowledge (DNS, DHCP, AD, server replication).
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including hardware and OS integration.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
• Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures.

Must obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.

• University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• SME level experience with Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, NETAPP, networking administration, Windows or Linux administration, and backup and recovery enterprise suites.
• Experience with server architecture and troubleshooting methods.
• Experience in Dev Sec Ops , containerization, and Kubernetes.
• DoD certification obtained within six months of start date.

• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, Windows desktops (Windows 10, 11), Splunk, ESXi, or other virtual computing methods.
• Experience with scripting/automation using Power Shell or Bash.
• Operating System certification.
• Direct experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF.
• Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
• Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
• Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange.
• High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.

• Salary range: 107,500 USD – 204,500 USD.
