Senior Systems Security Engineer (P3) – Woburn, MA

- Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness.
- Support compliance with NIST RMF controls.
- Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues.
- Support the development of bids and proposals.
- Support security development and test efforts, including implementation of security controls on networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware/software components.
- Integrate cybersecurity development activities.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Active, transferable U.S. Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, anti-tamper, cybersecurity, program protection, or embedded security.
- Knowledge of NIST RMF, DoDI 8570.01-M IAT Level-II compliance, security systems engineering, and IT/network and system security administration for UNIX, MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Cisco systems.
Preferred
- Experience with anti-virus, vulnerability assessment, HIDS/NIDS, host-based or endpoint security solutions, MFA, SIEM, and centralized auditing tools (e.g., Splunk).
- Linux Bash or Python scripting experience.
- Familiarity with security control implementation on networking devices, databases, operating systems, and software components.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and experience implementing DoD/Federal IA certification and accreditation processes.
- Competitive salary range: 86,800
USD – 165,200
