Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer II
Location:
Woburn, MA. Position Type:
Onsite. Role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance.
- Perform builds and releases of digital products manually and/or through certified pipelines.
- Facilitate Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs).
- Maintain, control, and administer the Digital Products Development Library (DDL).
- Maintain control, traceability, consistency, and security of all configuration items across the digital development lifecycle.
- Perform and maintain configuration planning and identification, change management and version control, status accounting, and configuration audits.
- Manage digital product development/media libraries.
- Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build, and versioning.
- Provide DPCM tool administration and management control/access to CM relevant tools/applications (Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Git Lab, Git Hub, Jira, Bit Bucket, Confluence).
- Administer, manage, and use Dev Sec Ops tools such as Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, Git Lab CI/CD, Bamboo.
- Coordinate secure data transfers and provide courier support among various environments, ensuring proper handling and compliance with RTX policies.
- Support coordination of various digital product releases and interface with functional and program leadership to ensure on‑time delivery and configuration management execution in the digital development environment.
- Required: BS/BA degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with version control and change management or agile planning tools, DPCM/Dev Sec Ops technology, information technology, and/or development/scripting.
- Experience with automation shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows.
- Ability to obtain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance on Day 1; U.S. citizenship required.
- Basic knowledge of digital product/software configuration management principles, processes, and implementation.
- Experience with DP/SW CM tools (Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory).
- Experience building software/digital products.
- Experience with scripting programming languages (Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, YAML).
- Experience with continuous improvement, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), Git Flow, and Agile concepts.
