• Assess and monitor system compliance, audit, and develop security plans while ensuring adherence to NIST Special Publications, customer directives, and company policies (NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, JSIG).
• Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports outlining corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve configuration management requests within authority.
• Conduct technical and administrative assessments.
• Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools.
• Support creation, review, and update of cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing.

Within six months of hire, the selected candidate must obtain and maintain a Security professional certification commensurate with IAM Level I (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).

• University Degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Relevant experience (any combination of the following):
  • Cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening.
  • IT compliance-based auditing using RMF, DCSA Assessment, and Authorization Process Manual, Joint SAP Implementation Guide, NISPOM, and/or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA.
  • Work with computer technologies: databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, hardware troubleshooting or electronics.
  • Physical security/security, police work/criminal justice, investigations, or Border Patrol.
  • Project or program management, office management, senior administration, or account management.
• Preferred:
  Experience working in DoD classified operating or laboratory environments.
• Experience with information system security tools that address vulnerability analysis and mitigation (e.g., Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS).
• Familiarity with implementation of Government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory standards.
• Experience executing the Assessment & Authorization processes defined within RMF.
• Technical security consultation experience for complex, cross‑domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments.
• Familiarity with large multi‑facility networks, including Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs.
• Familiarity with cyber incident response execution and management.
