Associate Attorney

💰 Salary Range: $70,000–$85,000 (commensurate with experience)

Foster Immigration (Pampanin Foster LLC) is a boutique business immigration law firm focused exclusively on employment-based immigration. We provide strategic, detail-driven, and highly personalized legal services to employers and foreign national professionals across a wide range of industries, from startups and nonprofits to established companies.

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–2 years of experience to join our growing business immigration practice. This role is ideal for a junior attorney who is eager to build strong substantive skills, take ownership of cases, and work closely with experienced attorneys in a supportive, mentorship‑driven environment.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, responsive, and genuinely interested in business immigration law and client service.

• Prepare and file employment‑based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including but not limited to:
• H‑1B, L‑1, O‑1, TN, E‑3
• PERM labor certifications
• Adjustment of Status and consular processing matters
• Family‑Based
• Draft legal arguments, support letters, and responses to RFEs and NOIDs
• Conduct legal research related to immigration regulations, policy guidance, and case strategy
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, timelines, and document collection
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to manage filings and deadlines
• Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions
• Maintain accurate case notes and ensure compliance with firm processes and quality standards
• Use the firm’s case management system to track matters and deadlines

• J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (active and in good standing), or pending admission with confirmed bar passage
• 0–2 years of legal experience (prior business immigration experience preferred but not required)
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional, client‑focused demeanor with strong communication skills
• Interest in developing a long‑term practice in business immigration law
