Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 0–2 years of experience to join our growing business immigration practice. This role is ideal for a junior attorney who is eager to build strong substantive skills, take ownership of cases, and work closely with experienced attorneys in a supportive, mentorship‑driven environment.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, responsive, and genuinely interested in business immigration law and client service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file employment‑based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including but not limited to:
- H‑1B, L‑1, O‑1, TN, E‑3
- PERM labor certifications
- Adjustment of Status and consular processing matters
- Family‑Based
- Draft legal arguments, support letters, and responses to RFEs and NOIDs
- Conduct legal research related to immigration regulations, policy guidance, and case strategy
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, timelines, and document collection
- Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to manage filings and deadlines
- Participate in client meetings and internal strategy discussions
- Maintain accurate case notes and ensure compliance with firm processes and quality standards
- Use the firm’s case management system to track matters and deadlines
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (active and in good standing), or pending admission with confirmed bar passage
- 0–2 years of legal experience (prior business immigration experience preferred but not required)
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional, client‑focused demeanor with strong communication skills
- Interest in developing a long‑term practice in business immigration law
- Meaningful mentorship and hands‑on training in business immigration law
