Our growing, clinical-stage life sciences client is seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to support day-to-day supply chain and materials operations across development and production activities. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment supporting innovative therapeutic programs and next-generation technologies. This individual will play a key role in ensuring materials are ordered, tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently to support operational and development timelines.
The role offers strong visibility across operations and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements as the organization continues to scale.
- Manage purchasing and ordering of raw materials, components, and operational supplies
- Track and maintain inventory levels to ensure continuity of supply while minimizing excess
- Coordinate receipt, storage, and internal distribution of materials
- Maintain accurate inventory data within ERP/MRP systems and ensure data integrity
- Support cycle counts, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including temperature-controlled materials
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve delays, and ensure timely delivery
- Assist with demand planning and materials forecasting to support operational needs
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing, inventory management, and materials flow
- Ensure materials are handled and stored in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or related field preferred
- 2–5+ years of experience in supply chain, materials management, purchasing, or inventory control within biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated environments
- Experience working in a cGMP or regulated setting preferred
- Comfortable working at the loading dock and managing/receive materials
- ERP/MRP system experience required (SAP or similar strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling temperature-controlled or regulated materials a plus
