Role Summary3
LED Group is seeking a detail‑oriented Shipping, Receiving & Packaging Specialist to manage the final stages of the production cycle and oversee inbound/outbound logistics. The position offers exposure to advanced manufacturing supply chains and opportunities for growth into inventory management, procurement, or logistics operations.
- Package finished LED lighting fixtures and subassemblies securely, ensuring fragile components are protected for transit.
- Prepare domestic and international shipments; generate shipping labels, verify weights/dimensions, and coordinate with carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, freight).
- Unload incoming materials, verify shipments against packing slips, inspect for damage, and log inventory.
- Conduct final quality checks before sealing packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping dock.
- 1–3 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or manufacturing logistics.
- Familiarity with shipping software (Fed Ex Ship Manager, UPS World Ship) and basic inventory/ERP systems.
- High accuracy in checking part numbers, quantities, and shipping addresses.
- Physical aptitude: stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, operate pallet jacks.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with production, engineering, and customer service teams.
