Are you a detail-oriented and highly organised logistics professional with experience in import operations, customs clearance, and international shipping?

We are looking for a proactive and solutions focused Import Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate the end to end import process, ensuring the compliant and efficient movement of shipments through customs and into final delivery. Working closely with internal teams, customs brokers, suppliers, carriers, and customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high operational standards.
RoleResponsibilities Overview:
- Coordinating international import shipments and customs clearance activities
- Reviewing import notifications and pre-alerts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Liaising with customs brokers, airlines, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate shipment clearance
- Obtaining required import approvals, permits, licences, and declarations
- Arranging duty and VAT payments in accordance with shipment Incoterms
- Monitoring shipments and resolving delivery or clearance issues proactively
- Identifying, recording, and reporting shipment deviations and operational exceptions
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, company procedures, and global standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Competitive salary: $24.75 - $30.48 per hour

- Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
- Fully onsite at our Boston office
- Experience with in a logistics, courier, freight forwarding, or supply chain environment
- Knowledge of import customs procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with HTS codes and Incoterms
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines
- Ability to work independently and make informed operational decisions
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Teams
