Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Working with current supply base to ensure on time delivery of goods/services while maintaining compliance to local, corporate, and industry regulations.
Leading the materials planning for the site – including when to buy and how much to buy – in support of the plant production/build schedules of all products
Manage the buyer/planner(s) and warehouse team
Working with finance/operations to conduct variance analysis and cycle counts as needed.
Responsible for ensuring the purchase and delivery of all materials needed for operation of the plant (MRO, facilities, supplies, etc)
Identify, analyze, and drive major supplier/procurement related cost improvement projects at the manufacturing plant level
Represent materials on the site MRB (Materials Review Board)
Collaborate with cross‑functionally to achieve all plant goals – including PPV and inventory targets
Provide inventory procurement support to new products that are launching out of the Woburn facility
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to the facility, act as primary point of contact for site related issues to these suppliers
Lead efforts to negotiate and implement/renew Strategic Supply Agreements covering this facility where needed
Represent department in Sarbanes‑Oxley, FDA, Internal, and ISO Audits
Support other critical business efforts as required
Qualifications, Knowledge, and
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
MBA a plus
2-5 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, and/or Operations
Experience in Medical Device, Medical Supply, or Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
Must possess leadership qualities as well as ability to influence stakeholders
Experience negotiating supply agreements
Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
The ability to work effectively and implement solutions on a strict timeline in a cross functional team environment
Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications
ERP/MRP system experience required (JDE preferred)
Must be able to travel between manufacturing facilities and supplier sites when needed (
