Job Overview

Bus Washer at Beacon Mobility, located in Woburn, MA. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our transit buses both inside and outside to ensure a safe and positive experience for customers.

Base Pay Range

$20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Perform a thorough cleaning of bus interiors and exteriors using provided equipment (scrubbing, washing, sweeping, waxing, buffing).
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness to meet Trans Action Corporate Shuttles standards.
  • Report any observed mechanical issues with vehicles.
  • Use cleaning agents appropriately and safely.
  • Restock supplies on the bus, including garbage bags.
  • Refill tire spray and wash soap.
  • Track vehicle numbers on whiteboard and record in office log.
  • Monitor and adhere to the cleaning schedule for all buses.
  • Perform light garage maintenance as requested.
  • Keep the work area clean: empty trash barrels, pick up trash, sweep the area.
  • Perform periodic leaf cleanup outside the office building.
  • Lift objects weighing 15 lbs. or more and perform physical labor—lifting, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, stretching, standing or walking for long periods, climbing up and down steps.
  • Work efficiently with or without direct supervision.
  • Suggest opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
  • Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Compensation

$20 per hour plus benefits.
