Role Overview

We are seeking a mechanically capable Applications & Product Specialist to support LEDMate product documentation, dimensional drawings, installation guides, and product visualization. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role ideal for a junior mechanical engineer interested in product commercialization and technical communication. You will work closely with engineering and e‑commerce to translate product designs into accurate, professional, customer‑facing content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and update dimensioned drawings from CAD files.
  • Develop installation guides and mounting diagrams.
  • Produce wiring and configuration visuals.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent spec sheets.
  • Ensure documentation reflects current engineering revisions.
Product Rendering & Visualization
  • Generate high‑quality product renders from CAD files.
  • Create clean white‑background e‑commerce images.
  • Develop configuration and bundle visuals.
  • Produce exploded views and detail illustrations.
  • Maintain consistent branded visual standards.

(Rendering experience using tools such as Key Shot, Solid Works Visualize, or similar software is highly valued.)

Ecommerce Support
  • Prepare image sets and documentation for upload to:
    • Shopify
    • Woo Commerce
    • Pinnacle Cart
    • Amazon
    • eBay
  • Assist with product uploads and technical content formatting.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries.
Applications & Customer Support
  • Provide technical clarification for pre‑sale questions.
  • Support bundle and kit development with configuration logic.
  • Identify recurring installation questions and improve documentation accordingly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 1–4 years experience (internships considered).
  • Proficiency in Solid Works or similar CAD software.
  • Ability to generate clean dimensioned drawings.
  • Experience with rendering or product visualization tools (e.g., Key Shot) strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
  • Clear written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally.
Preferred
  • Experience with mechanical assemblies or installation systems.
  • Exposure to lighting or electrical integration products.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Woo Commerce, Amazon) is a plus.

Compensation

Base salary range: $60,000 – $70,000
