Job Summary

Seeking a CNC Machinist on 1st shift for a high growth manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area. The CNC Machinist would be responsible for ensuring CNC machines are inspected, programmed, and function properly. This includes programming the machines using Mastercam, setting them up, operating them, and taking quality control measurements of the finished products. You'll work autonomously as well as with a small, cross‑functional team to achieve company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize Mastercam to program 3‑axis CNC milling machines.
  • Operate manual machines as needed, including lathes, millers, and drill presses
    .
  • Interact with Design, Cost, and Process Engineering teams.
  • Inspect and evaluate equipment and products using calipers and various measurement devices
    .
  • Follow documentation and reporting standards to ensure data is recorded and escalated correctly.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to notify leaders and engineers of issues for troubleshooting.
  • Support LEAN and High‑Performance team objectives to promote company culture.
  • Prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for designated areas.
