The Program Planning Department within Raytheon seeks a Program Management/Planning professional to develop, maintain, and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for complex programs in the ASDS directorate.
What You Will Do- Develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project based on customer requirements and scope.
- Detail, update, and manage the IMS throughout the program’s lifecycle, incorporating contractual and programmatic changes to keep realistic, current baseline schedules.
- Ensure IMS compliance with government customer requirements and internal processes.
- Resource‑load the IMS with target budgets, ensuring thorough cost and schedule integration traceable to production scope.
- Conduct detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to verify quality, completeness, and compliance.
- Communicate schedule status (critical‑path analysis, variance analysis, what‑if results) to the Planning Lead, Program Manager, customers, and senior management on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Support EAC and LRE processes related to the program IMS.
- Develop and maintain the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Project Management experience.
- Proficiency with industry‑related scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
- Ability to decompose statements of work into basic elements and transform them into a workable program plan.
- Familiarity with applicable government regulations (program planning and Earned Value compliance).
- Understanding of basic product‑development principles, including Agile software development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Experience with Process Excellence (APEX), SAP/R3, Microframe Project Manager (MPM), or similar EVMS tools and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra, and Deltek MPM Connect.
- Demonstrated ability to balance technical, cost, and schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials.
- Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 (USD)
