Process Technician

Responsibilities

• Support wafer and chip production in all areas of the Semiconductor Fab, focusing on chip pick and place.
• Prepare materials for shipment to customers.
• Assist with general maintenance in the Fab.
• Assist in wastewater treatment operations and hazardous waste management.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cleanroom semiconductor wafer fab.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Direct experience in photolithography, RIE, and vacuum deposition.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
• Experience with networked PC-based computer systems.

• Ability to handle small die (mm size) with tweezers with precision.
• Attention to detail.
• Follow instructions and procedures closely.
• Work independently with minimal guidance.
• Maintain high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competence.
• Keep the workplace safe, clean, and orderly.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and process procedures.
• Continuous learning and willingness to grow.

• On-site position.
• Regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
• Interaction with team members and external contacts is a regular part of the job.
• May require occasional overtime and flexibility in work hours to accommodate executive needs.

• Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
• Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
• Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
