As an Operational Excellence Leader
, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and operational performance across our microelectronics business supporting the defense and aerospace sectors.

This position is a hands‑on individual contributor role focused on leading Lean transformation initiatives, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.

You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams across multiple sites to identify opportunities, lead improvement initiatives, and embed a culture of operational excellence aligned with Honeywell standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute continuous improvement (CI) and Lean initiatives across production and business processes
  • Drive waste reduction, efficiency gains, and process optimization using Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S, visual management)
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions to improve performance and productivity
  • Manage and deliver cross‑functional projects across manufacturing and administrative functions
  • Support and enhance tier escalation processes to resolve operational issues
  • Analyze performance metrics to guide decision‑making and sustain improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sites to drive alignment and execution of initiatives
  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
Business & Team Context

This role supports a growing microelectronics business undergoing a Lean transformation aligned with enterprise operational excellence standards.

  • Multi‑site environment across Woburn and Whippany
  • Team includes operational excellence resources supporting multiple sites

Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 5–12 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Lean environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading CI or Lean projects with measurable impact (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains)
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred)
  • Experience working in manufacturing, operations, or similar environments
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and drive change
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to adapt and succeed in dynamic, transformation‑focused environments
