What will I be doing?

Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and grinding equipment to produce precision components and cutting tools.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan the work.

Monitoring machines, adjusting tooling, offsets, and parameters to hold tolerances and finish requirements.

Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to resolve common issues.

Inspecting parts with hand metrology tools to verify dimensions and features.

Collaborating with peers to optimize processes and improve productivity.

Maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace.

What do I need to qualify?

High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certifications are beneficial.

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CNC machinist or equivalent position.

Ability to read/interpret detailed prints and technical documentation.

Strong grounding in CNC programming concepts and machine operation.

Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and related precision measurement tools.

Keen attention to detail and a practical problem‑solving mindset.

Comfort working independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
