Quality Control Inspector III

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring the quality of BD Products' medical devices and components throughout the production process, adhering to strict regulatory standards and internal procedures.

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections of medical devices, components, and raw materials according to established specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize various measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify product conformance.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting non-conformances.
• Initiate and participate in non-conformance investigations and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as required.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection activities.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve product quality.
• Train junior quality control inspectors on inspection techniques and quality procedures.
• Operate and maintain inspection equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
