Position: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Woburn, MA

Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT)

Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm)

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of products in accordance with internal procedures and product specifications.
• Report non-conformances to supervisor and discuss corrective action.
• Follow up to ensure corrective action was effective.
• Determine product acceptance or rejection, initiate rejection notices, and maintain accurate written records of inspections performed.
• Recognize conditions outside specific inspection areas that require action and refer items to supervisor.
• Monitor compliance with G.M.P. in employee working areas and report infractions to QC supervisor for corrective action.
• Evaluate both product and process, making decisions on subjective visual inspections.
• Perform duties that impact product quality, productivity, and product costs, considering internal and external rework, scrap, and warranty costs.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related quality control experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.
• Ability to withstand repetitive motion and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English.
• Six months of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
