PositionSummary
In this role, you will execute analytical methods and manage analytical data to advance the gene therapy development for ultra‑rare diseases. This hands‑on, laboratory‑based position will maintain data visualization tools and information workflows to support Analytical Development and operate several automated/semi‑automated analytical methods. You will collaborate closely with scientists, research associates, IT, and Records Management teams to streamline data workflows.

Work ModelCore Lab & Ops:
This role typically requires that the majority of the work be conducted on‑site.
- Design and execute experiments for high‑throughput genome titer testing (such as qPCR and dPCR) manually or by utilizing automation equipment (Echo liquid handler, integrated workcells, Hamilton liquid handlers).
- Generate, maintain, document and summarize analytical results in a highly organized manner.
- Assist with assay troubleshooting under supervision.
- Present results of experimentation in internal meetings and draft method development reports.
- Participate in requirement building, configuration, testing, implementation and deployment of laboratory data automation and/or data visualization solutions.
- Develop, document and deploy standard operating procedures (SOPs) that can be referenced by end users for technical assistance and training.
- Assist with other analytical lab activities such as sample handling and machinery or reagent maintenance as needed.
- Strong biological lab skills with data analysis ability in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or a strong desire to learn these tools.
- Hands‑on experience operating molecular methods, especially PCR‑based methods.
- Proficient technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to complete relevant documentation.
- Strong motivation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills to work as a team member in the lab.
- Master of Science in Biology, Bioengineering, or Bioinformatics/Data Science with 0‑2 years of related experience, or a BS with 2‑4 years of related experience.
- Stand for extended periods with periodic stooping, bending, and kneeling.
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and stairs of various heights.
- Work in a lab environment requiring PPE over the head, face, hands, feet, and body; may require a respirator with medical clearance.
The typical annual salary range for this full‑time position is $82,100 USD – $101,400 USD, based on location and individual experience.
