Retail Sales Merchandiser

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. As a Merchandiser with Davidson Specialty Foods, you will become a key part of ensuring that local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can continue to supply their consumers.

• Pay: $19 – $22/hr (per experience)
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Territory:
  Boston Metro, including Hyde Park, Woburn, Malden, Waltham, Jamaica Plain, Revere, Lexington, and surrounding areas.

• 5‑day work week; flexibility needed for weekends/holidays.
• Flex start: 7:00‑3:30, 8:00‑4:00, or 9:00‑5:00.

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets in assigned territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing displays.
• Packing out grocery orders when needed.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory accordingly.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves.
• Remain accountable to completion of work by assigned due dates.

• Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Communication skills: speaking clearly and persuasively.
• Capability to read and interpret written information and comprehend simple instructions.
• High school diploma or general equivalency.
