Account Manager – Presidio
Presidio Account Manager role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships, prospecting new opportunities, and ensuring smooth delivery of solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and technology partners like AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco to drive joint sales initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross‑sell opportunities.
- Identify and engage prospective customers in target industries, developing new business leads and converting prospects into long‑term clients.
- Create and execute account plans that align with sales targets and customer business objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to leverage resources and technologies.
- Maintain operational understanding of accounts, ensuring seamless delivery; track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and analyze account health.
- Build and maintain relationships with Presidio’s technology partners to create joint go‑to‑market strategies and drive value to customers.
- Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets and customer engagement goals through proactive relationship management and consultative selling.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3‑5 years of technology sales experience, including partnership with technology vendors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with a focus on customer retention and new business development.
- Strong operational skills: ability to manage multiple accounts, forecast revenue, and track account health.
- Experience providing detailed technology roadmaps and collaborating with internal account managers.
- Monthly forecasting and pipeline management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field.
- Highly motivated, results‑driven with passion for customer success.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Problem‑solving mindset focused on tailored solutions.
- Ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, and articulate ideas clearly.
