This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Special Hazards Technician located in Woburn, MA. The Special Hazards Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, service, and repair of special hazards fire suppression systems. Day‑to‑day tasks include diagnosing and resolving system issues, testing for operational readiness, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of work performed and ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Qualifications- Technical skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining special hazards fire suppression systems
- Ability to inspect, test, and verify system functionality in compliance with fire safety standards
- Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate service and inspection records
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Previous experience in fire protection systems or related fields preferred
- Relevant technical training, certifications, or licenses in fire suppression systems are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations in the Massachusetts/New England region
