Pay

Pay Range: $28-$32/hr (DOE) + Bi‑Weekly Install Bonuses.

As a Crew Lead you are responsible for coordinating residential installs of each system efficiently, in a timely and in a quality manner. Good leadership, good communication and documentation skills while working on the roof.

Essential

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise the entire installation project
  • Ensure safety on the job
  • Complete installations on various roof types and ground mounts
  • Supervise quality and efficiency of work performed on site
  • Communicate with Roof Lead and Branch Manager on any changes needed
  • Mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment
  • Thoroughly and completely fill out job documents
  • Collect data and photos for each job
  • Promote teamwork to improve productivity and project completion
  • Operate company vehicle to and from jobs safely
  • Manage truck tools and material inventory
  • Direct troubleshooting and problem solving on projects
  • Clean up job site
  • Travel for extended periods of time if required
  • Maintain a current driver’s license and a clean driving record for company vehicle operation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Certifications
  • High School Graduate or GED
Experience
  • Minimum 1+ year experience, including at least 6 months leading a crew
  • Experience with electrical and roof racking
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Motivation with attention to productivity, detail, and safety
  • Ability to work safely with heights, ladders, and confined areas
  • Can lift, pull and push materials and equipment; able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently

  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (heat, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)

  • Spot objects or movements off to the side while looking forward
  • Lift 50+ pounds
Travel Requirements

Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work. If required to travel, must have a valid driver's license/insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
