Plant Installer – Delivery & Installation
Plant Installer responsible for preparing, loading, delivering, and installing plants and related equipment for our clients throughout New England. Must be comfortable with consistent daily driving, including occasional trips up to 4 hours.
Responsibilities- Complete occasional warehouse tasks including plant receiving and preparation which includes protecting plants and containers for delivery
- Load service vehicle and exercise care in delivering plant containers, arrangements and plant walls to customer sites
- Schedule delivery details/arrangements as required by the client and deliver replacement plants, staging materials and scenting components to customer sites as required
- Regularly drive a delivery type van/truck in urban and rural settings. Delivery locations range from Greenwich, CT to Portland, ME
- Able to drive a 16' box truck, occasionally a 26" box truck
- Maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights
- Plant containers, vases, and planter beds with a wide variety of plants
- Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. during installation service
- Deliver and install scenting and air purification equipment as necessary
- Be available for occasional after‑hour project work (for example early access to customer sites like shopping malls for large tree delivery or replacement)
- Some outdoor/exterior work will be required, seasonally for containerized arrangements or small planter beds
- Assist on holiday decoration installations providing pre‑built decor for interior and exterior of buildings with a team
- Assist on the removal of holiday decorations as needed at the end of the season
- Experience caring for plants is preferred
- Experience interacting with clients
- Regular lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders up to 12 ft
- Comfortable driving to customer locations throughout New England for deliveries from CT to ME
- Must be able to pass the physical for a DOT Med Card in order to drive
- Lift certification is a plus
- Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects
- Experience using drills, saws, and other power tools
- Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence
Hourly: $17.00 – $25.00. Pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance incentives.
